Dick Clark�s Policies |
We may require a deposit for parties booked during prime dates throughout the year (holidays, etc.). If the function is cancelled within 30 days prior to the event, we will keep the full deposit, otherwise, it will be applied to your bill. A signed contract may be required.
A guaranteed guest count is to be made 72 hours prior to your function to ensure proper accommodations. This guarantee is final and will be billed accordingly. Dick Clark�s will be prepared to serve 5% over the guarantee and the higher of the number served or the guaranteed amount will be billed.
Prices and menu items are subject to change due to market fluctuations.
A state sales tax and 18% service charge will be added to all items.
Payment is due at the conclusion of your event. Corporate billing arrangements can be made a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to your function. Tax-exempt groups must submit their letter of exemption and tax numbers before the scheduled function.
For your safety and convenience, no food or beverage items may be brought into or removed from the banquet area (exclusive of wedding or anniversary cakes, mints and/or nuts in sealed containers). This is a new policy which we must abide by in order to meat health and safety codes.
Dick Clark�s reserves the right to refuse service to any guests when in question of their age or safety to other guests.
The customer is responsible for any damages (i.e. linens, inside walls, outside walls, furniture, or equipment) incurred to Dick Clark�s during the function.
With proper notice to the guests, Dick Clark�s reserves the right to make changes in room assignments in order to best serve all our guests.
Your event area will be open to you a reasonable time prior to the event for decorating. Please make arrangements in advance. We no longer allow open flame candles. Battery operated flicker tea-lights will be provided for your use free of charge. Please refrain from using small confetti.
If you would like your event to extend beyond a five hour limit, please inform us prior to the event. This will allow us to staff accordingly. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee to accommodate an extended time period.

| How it all began...
While serving in the Philippines during World War II, Richard "Dick" Clark realized that coca-cola, ice cream, and short orders were going to be the rage. In December 1946, he purchased a Taylor ice cream freezer and 12 ice cream cans for $2,479.00 and began making ice cream. He set up the ice cream shop in a concrete block addition to his uncle's grocery store, Sutton's grocery, which is now Dick Clark's.
